Remember in Windows when you send a fax the "printer" has to be defined as a "fax utility". This is what klprfax does (note the "pr") in the name. It converts your document to fax for sending. Efax can both send and receive faxes. For sending from the command-line, you would use mgetty and mgetty-sendfax. Efax has a GUI interface, and you can get further information here: http://www.cce.com/efax/ Also, I would *strongly* recommend visiting and bookmarking the "JustLinux" site (formerly Linuxnewbie.Org), which is at: http://www.justlinux.com, which is most invaluable and has many "newbieized" HOWTOs for the linux beginner. If you are doing a fairly large amont of faxing you might also want to check out Hylafax (search on http://www.google.com). cheers & HTH, Elton ;-) -- http://setiathome.ssl.berkeley.edu/stats/team/team_4504.html "You only live once, so let's make life EASIER for each other."
