I have been saddled with trying to get a 5-year old Datafab Flash Card Type 1 reader working on my shrike box, model number MDCFE-SR. I have loaded the paride module but the kernel still does not grok anything other than the printer attached to the parallel port. I have googled for a solution to no avail.
