Hi everyone,

I'm trying to configure ntp with the multicastclient option, but the bind() function still indicates that the 224.0.1.1 address is already in use.

Here is a log file :

[root@xxxxxxxxx rc5.d]# /usr/sbin/ntpd -c /etc/ntp.conf -l /var/tmp/ntp.log
[root@xxxxxxxxx rc5.d]# cat /var/tmp/ntp.log

12 May 03:40:13 ntpd[26154]: frequency initialized 0.000 from /etc/ntp/drift

I have searched over the Internet for a long time and haven't find any clue ...

Thanks for your help
