I'm having a problem with power management in Redhat 9. When I set the monitor to power off (in KDE control panel) after a certain amount of time, it does so. But, after a little while (this varies) the monitor clicks and displays "Out of sync." This lasts for a few seconds, then the monitor returns to the appropriate state. After a minute or so, this repeats. I've tried setting the everything manually with xset, but this does not work. Power management worked fine with Redhat 7.1 (Xfree 3.3.6). Any advice is appreciated. Thanks Chad
