cups file permissions

Hello,

It seems strange to me that the only file in my RH9 /etc/xinetd.d
directory that is set with executable permissions is cups-lpd.

I don't recall ever changing this file and the rpm database seems
to think that the permissions are ok as executable [see below].

Can someone else confirm this on their RH9 box?

TIA

Kevin B

[kevin@xxxxxx kevin]$ ls -l /etc/xinetd.d/cups-lpd
-rwxr-xr-x 1 root root 239 Feb 12 09:51
/etc/xinetd.d/cups-lpd

[kevin@xxxxxx kevin]$ rpm -V cups
S.?....T c /etc/cups/classes.conf
S.?....T c /etc/cups/cupsd.conf
S.?....T c /etc/cups/printers.conf
missing /var/spool/cups/tmp
