Encrypted loopback filesystem....

I need some help setting up an encrypted loopback filesystem on RH9.  As 
far as I can tell RH has compiled in kernel support for AES encryption, 
but failed to ship losetup and mount with the proper patches.  I have 
found some patched losetup binaries, but they are very old and much 
older than RH9 losetup.

How is one supposed to setup an encryped filesystem in RH9?
