Moleskine, and kde addons

I recently upgraded my system from RH 7.2 to RH 9 (shrike), and ever since I have not been able to use Moleskine. For those who don't know, Moleskine is a text editor for software code, much like TextPad is for Windows. It's a python based, glade made GUI application. I have recently tried just about every, and anything to make it run. However, it seems like something was lost in the upgrading process.
When I try to run the Moleskine from the terminal from the root or other user directory
(i.e. ./~/../usr/bin/moleskine) it tells me that it could not find module name Moleskine, and it could not import it.
I have alredy tried removing and re-installing Moleskine using the rmp command in my terminal. This, however, has not made a difference yet.

Another serious problem I have had is with the new, very MS Windows like, add/remove software application in Shrike. I have installed the gnome destok tools, however, anything else that I've tried to install or remove has given me the same results. Everytime I try, it tells me that due to some depencies on kdeaddons (i.e. libatlantic.so.1, libatlantikui.so.1, libkdegames.so.1, ...) that it can not find, it cannot continue installation. However, I have checked for those files in my computer, and they are in usr/lib/ and as far as I know they are all executable. I am getting really confused about that.

Any help with either would be greatly appreicated,

gonzo
