Hi,

I'm not sure how to reload just a single zone file.

I would like to be able to update just a single zone when it changes instead of restarting named.

I tried "rndc reload zone zonename" but that doesn't work, and the man page is not clear.

Well you just "reload" named with "service named reload" and it will
only run NOTIFYs for the zones that have actually changed. It's much
faster then "restart"

Does that help?

That's great, so "/sbin/service named reload" That will load only the zonefiles that have changed?

no need to respond if that's it, I will try it later and look through my logs.

Thanks!
