I think you're asking if Red Hat Linux 7.2 comes with an automatic way
to switch printer systems?  If so, the answer is no (and the question
would be better asked on the RHL 7.2 list, enigma-list).  You'll need to
follow the installation instructions that came with whatever package of
CUPS you installed.  (You may want to uninstall LPRng first before
installing CUPS, as they may not co-exist well.)

But if you're actually running RHL 9, and not 7.2, you can run the
redhat-switch-printer tool in text mode; it's not limited to the GUI.
