Hello,
The machine in a ibm xSerie 200, RH7.3 Kernel 2.4.18-3.
I have recived many times a "(scsi0:A:0:0): Locking max tag count at 64"
message on the console, it?s daily on /var/log/messages too.
That is common (unfortunately) but also harmless. Upgrade your kernel to 2.4.18-5 or higher via RHN. It won't stop the messages, but it will let you sleep at night knowing you are running an up2date kernel.

But I have kernel 2.4.20-18.9smp which is the last updated kernel version available for RedHat 9.
once again google 5 minutes later
