That is common (unfortunately) but also harmless. Upgrade your kernel to
2.4.18-5 or higher via RHN. It won't stop the messages, but it will let
you sleep at night knowing you are running an up2date kernel.

But I have kernel 2.4.20-18.9smp which is the last updated kernel version
available for RedHat 9.
