I'm looking for a notebook recommendation to run Red Hat 9. The ideal: Modern notebook, Radeon 7500 or better. Prefer 15.4 - 16" screen. Gig RAM. P4 2 gigahertz or better Firewire USB 2.0 ie. A workstation replacement notebook Basically I want something that Shrike will run on without a hiccup. I've got a Sony Vaio now whichs runs RH9 beautifully except for Firewire, and I can't activate that because Sony won't let me disable plug and play in the bios. Since I really need to get firewire running, I need some advice! Best, Ed
