RE: USB and UPS

The gentleman that was helping me with this has not responded in several
days. I did send a private email to him explaining that I was very new to
USB and was unclear as to what he was asking me to do. There has since been
no follow-up, so I figured I would start back at the beginning, and see if
there was additional resources available for me to read. I'm happy to try
and get this working on my own, but I fear that there might be a lot of
background material I need to be familiar with to really understand USB,
modules, how to detect what's running, etc.

Any help or pointers would be greatly appreciated.

Wait, you posted this last Friday, with a more complete description, and
quite a bit of discussion ensued
(https://www.redhat.com/archives/shrike-list/2003-June/msg01315.html ).
Why are you asking again?
