My ThinkPad 600E does freeze up wierdly - when rebooted from windows back to linux (in a dual-boot config) - unless I do the following: Before booting back to linux - I go to the bios -> config -> Initialize (with the power cable connected) and then boot into linux. To get to bios - I have to power cycle - and press F1. Satish
