perl Makefile.PL is as far as I get building manually, though cpan2rpm http://sourceforge.net/projects/cpan2rpm/ kicked out the RPM without
complaints and the error above wasn't displayed.
The test at the end of the Makefile complete ok during the making of the RPM- so I'd guess it's all ok- but I've not tested it out.
