Go to system settings/networks, edit your eth card parameters and verify that option 'Automatically obtain DNS from provider' is checked. Just edit /etc/resolv.conf file and add in your info and that should do it, like below.. domain domain.com search domaindns.com nameserver 1.2.3.4 nameserver 1.2.3.5 Above is the basic format that you can use. You probably don't even need the domain part, just the search and nameserver fields. You might even go to another machine on the same LAN and view it's /etc/resolv.conf file and see what they have and use it.
