How can I install RPM if RPM is broken?

I a fit of goofiness I updated glibc on my old server so I could use cups as a print server. This, of course, broke rpm, which now generates seg faults whenever I try to install or upgrade.

So...how do I install an rpm that was compiled under glibc-2.3.2 when my rpm is broken.

thanks
sean
