That's not really a Redhat 9 problem. Could be kernel driver problems,
could be misconfiguration. Without your exact hardware and kernel
configuration noone can tell. Maybe you could try double checking if the
right modules are loaded? If you're sure it's a kernel bug please report
it to the kernel folks...
