There are packages which should work with Red Hat Linux 9 available from

Works like a charm here, only the usual notes:
1. Forgot my IMAPS passwords - no biggie.
2. It already kind of crashed/freezed once here, just after sending one
e-mail (probably while copying to Sent, I don't know). I had to kill -9
several evolution processes since there is no longer "killev" :P
Other than that, it is a very good, BIG improvement in fonts mangement.
Thanks for packaging it, Jeremy :)
------
Fonts are great - password lost is no biggie BUT
doesn't retain groups that I add in shortcut bar (and in fact, it lost
the groups/customizations that I had made already) bad
and it crashes every time I try to sync to my palm (very bad)

Elton,
I've had a few other [non-]functionality problems with 1.4b from Rawhide.
Unless you enjoy Bugzilla browsing, or absolutely *MUST* have some
function or feature new to 1.4, I'd recommend rolling back to the 1.2.1
version that shipped with RH9 (and seems to work fine with the CT web
site). I ultimately did.

In mozilla 1.4b, when I go to the Canadian Tire site,

I cannot get in (either to view the English or the French contents).

However, I can *immediately* access the site with Konqueror...
Is this a bug in mozilla? I've even enabled cookies, and restored
Well, the Canadian Tire site is the only one in my bookmark list, or
which I've visited, which causes mozilla 1.4b to display this behavoir.
I guess I *might* keep 1.4b, though, since it now does yENC decoding
of binaries...
Thanks to all for your suggestions!
Elton ;-)
It works perfectly with Mozilla 1.4RC1.....
Antonio
That site open corectly with Mozilla 1.4b
