gcc - how to use pre-compiled header filess?

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

The online docs. for gcc have had talk of pre-compiled header files for while, but there's no mention of it in the Shrike gcc 3.2.2 - nor can I find it in the release notes of 3.2.3 or 3.3, so I can't state that it's been introduced since 3.2.2.

Does anyone know when this came in, or whether it's something that isn't compiled into the RH gcc (don't think so, as the info page for it is even 'missing' from gcc I have installed).

Or is there some way of triggering it that I'm missing? I'm fairly certain, though, that it's not there due to the missing info page.
