When I boot with kernel 2.4.20-18.9 I see a message Jun 7 17:54:58
localhost modprobe: modprobe: Can't locate module ide-disk.
I cannot mount my second hard drive. (/dev/hdb)
When I boot with the old kernel 2.4.20-8 I do not see the modprobe
message.
I can mount the second hard drive.
Is ide-disk modular or is it in the kernel? I cannot find this module
in either the old or new kernel driver libraries.
How would I fix this?
