Thanks for the suggestion, Florin. The only two lines in
/etc/modules.conf that look relevant are these:
alias ieee1394-controller ohci1394
alias scsi_hostadapter sbp2
Are you suggesting that maybe I somehow need to pass either of these as
arguments to the kernel in grub? Any idea how?
