To get it working, what I did was made a new resolv.conf file and named
it resolve.conf.  That file had my ISP DNS info in it.  Then I edited my
own resolv.conf file and just put nameserver 127.0.0.1.  Then edited
/etc/init.d/dnsmasq file and put in the 2nd configuration part (quarter
way down the file, has an explanation by it to show you) the path to
that new resolve.conf file.  And commented out the dns part in the
configuration section after that.

Start or restart the program and there you go.  Then just point all your
networked machines to that machine as dns.
