The first time I didn't figure out what happened at the time (I figured it out later), but the second time, I was looking at the folder that had contained the data that I just told you had dissapeared, and I discovered that I did not have execute priveledges for that folder. So I gave myself execute priveledges for that directory, and everything popped right back :) Just to make sure I just tried an experiment, and I took away execute priveledges from a folder, and refreshed Konqueror, and the data dissapeared! Then I gave myself execute priveledges again, and refreshed Konqueror, and everythin reappeared. That may not help you, but your problem sure sounded similar to mine. Steven P. Ulrick
