Hello Michael, Thanks for this info, I di d not know it. I had to install procinfo for some reason it wasn't on the system, but i ran both netstat -tpa and socklist and in both cases it came up with rpc.rquotad which certainly narrows it down, rpc probably something to do with nfs? That's as close as i know how to get. Thanks. Dave.
