RE: VNCserver not starting

The way I do it is just by typing:
#vncserver -depth 16 -geometry 800x600 -name MyVNCDesktop

then it asks for a password is this is the first time, other wise

#vncpasswd

So, it asks again for the password.
I never had to start the service.
