My IP is dynamic here, however it has yet to change for months. BTW I am just sending mail to my ISP's server through my MUAs on my boxes. I am not running my own MTA.
Here is the smtp communication: note xxx is substituted.

Reporting-MTA: dns; fep02-imail.bloor.is.net.cable.rogers.com
Arrival-Date: Thu, 24 Apr 2003 12:50:56 -0400
Received-From-MTA: dns; Pittland (24.112.134.xxx)

Final-Recipient: RFC822; <shrike-list-request@xxxxxxxxxx>
Action: failed
Status: 5.1.1
Remote-MTA: dns; mx1.redhat.com (66.187.233.31)
Diagnostic-Code: smtp; 550 5.0.0 You must use your ISPs mail server this range has been blocked due to spam.

i have a dynamic ip and run my own mail server and have it set to deliver
directly and have not experienced any issues at all. so they are not
blocking all dynamic ip ranges though my ip usually changes less than once a
month.
