Ah! I see now.
This will fail when a user tries to execute, while it would silently
erase the hard disk when executed as root.
Thanks for the explanation.

One question
What command do you use to build a rpm from a src.rpm as a user?
rpmbuild --rebuild will fail because the user does not have write access
to /usr/src/redhat/SOURCES
