Hello, Doc :)
Thank you for your reply :)  I had another similar thing happen after
the time I mentioned in the above quoted message, and the next morning,
for some reason I was looking at the permissions on the directory from
which the data had apparently dissapeared, and I noticed that I only had
read and write priveledges.  I gave myself execute permissions, and the
data immediately returned :)  But because of that, I've learned
something new that I will never make a mistake on again :)
