Have you tried to edit the "Monitor" section of your XF86Config file? It is in /etc/X11.

it seems that reconginzes well everything i have... what can i change?

Try running `xrandr -q` it will show the supported resolution/refresh-rate combinations of your hardware.
If your display in not distorted by the lower refresh of 85 then it is probably correct for that resolution and your monitor will be happier and live longer.
