My 1GHz system is using the onboard sound.  Besides that, I have four SB
Live cards, each on a Via-based motherboard, and they're all working
fine.  The only instability I have with them (which I don't think is
really an instability) is that the wavetable always reads as gibberish
in KMid, and trying to play anything with it locks up the application.
