I don't know anything about RHN availability, but aren't they available at
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/9/en/iso/doc/
(I can't get there to find out)?

This is the directory structure for the mirrors
ftp://sunsite.dk/mirrors/redhat/9/en/iso/doc/

It stands to reason that the docs aren't i386 specific...
