Problem with lm_sensors in RHL9

[Date Prev][Date Next][Thread Prev][Thread Next][Date Index][Thread Index]

Greetings,

In doing some "housekeeping work" on a new RHL9 instal, I'm having more than
the usual amount of trouble with lm_sensors. I may be missing something but
it appears that the default 'everything" install of RHL 9 (clean install from
CD's) did not install any of the "i2c" packages required for lm_sensors to
work. Running rpm -q on lm_sensors shows lm_sensors-2.6.5-5, but running
sensors-detect complains about a number of missing functions. Running rpm
-qa | grep i2c yields nothing. Do I just haunt rawhide and DL the latest RPM
or have I missed something in the transition to RHL9?

Regards
