Tried that - no luck. Odd thing is that XP sees both of them, though I'm not sure what mechanism it uses to enumerate the processors. No options in the BIOS other than HT enabled/disabled.in my case I've got a P4 3.06GHz CPU which only appears as a single processor under 2.4.20-9smp, though the number of siblings in cpuinfo appears as 2. I expected to see two processors.. any ideas?the kernel depends on the bios to enumerate the cpus in order to find them; if only 1 is found I'd suggest trying to find a bios upgrade; my HT box needed one to find the second cpu.
Motherboard is an ASUS P4G8X, btw.
