Hi Matt, Thanks for the quick reply. I am looking into how to change from DMA to PIO. But I was wondering, I am to install 8.0 and 7.3 without any issues, why is only 9.0 having this problem? And we noticed the same problem on another of our newer Dell Server. Thanks It's possible that some ServerWorks chipsets that have BIOSes on them that do not default CD-ROM modes to PIO (instead of DMA) will have speeds miscalculated. If possible, can you check to see if you can change drive to PIO mode? (I'm not even sure which chipset that Proliant used, but this is my best guess.)
