I don't have an other/older Ati card so I can't tell if this affects
newer cards only. I just see the double free mentioned in
/var/log/messages and no 3d acceleration as a result :( Wish I knew C
so I could try to find that double free.
Thanks for the clarification. I wish it worked better for you, but the 7500 cards seem to work well with the current radeon driver. Even though I know a little C, debugging a video driver is above my pay grade :)
