I did not use cups on RH 8. I do not remember what was used however. I deleted the defined print queue from printtool and then did a rpm -e cups, desktop-printing, and qtcups. However, the Gnome Print Manager still shows two printers, one called all, the other called missingprinter. How do I delete these? I have installed LPRng. Now, how do I configure LPRng to use the remote printer?
