Blink-Blink ... and apt-rpm did not check for other running RPM processes, and ran with --nodeps, practically guaranteeing a 'deadly embrace' lockup, needing a 'kill -9' and database repair to remedy with the post rpm-4.0 database model. -- Russ Herrold
