$ md5sum path/to/iso

Compare the output to known good md5sums. In the case of RHL9, they can
be found at: https://rhn.redhat.com/network/software/index.pxt

And you can usually find them on the ftp server the iso's were
downloaded off of.

Also, RHL 8 and 9 have media checks. When you try to install, RHL will
prompt you to verify the cds before it starts the installation process.
