The RealPlayer rpm package installs a couple of /etc/mailcap entries which can be adjusted to either set LD_ASSUME_KERNEL appropriately or call a wrapper shell-script which does it prior to calling the realplay binary. I use this one in /usr/X11R6/bin/realplay: #!/bin/sh export LD_ASSUME_KERNEL=2.2.5 exec realplay.orig $* That works for me as a replacement for the plug-in. The plug-in seems to call "realplay" as well. Do we have to reinvent the wheel or does anyone else has a solution for this already? ;) - -- -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+jcrg0iMVcrivHFQRAtBwAJ9FvGSL72NL5+BY8W6XwACQgqXBHQCfe78H dN/Eqalsdoj/QWMfMekZOOU= =PnSE -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
