Subject: change of motherboard

hi there
i just want to tell you what i've done, almost without problems

first i had running psyche on an
AMD 500Mhz(socket), 256MB DIMM(1 of 128MB and 2 of 64MB), 15GB,
motherboard M598LMR, SIS530 chipset, VGA 8MB (built-in), sound (built-in)
this MB has cache L1 64Kb
i've change it to a PII500Mhz (slot), (same ram & hdd)
now it has a 3D Rage Mach64 IIC 8MB (pci)
and this MB has cache L1 512Kb and L2 64Kb

there are just two things, the video had to be reconfigured, and now is
working fine, but the sound doesnt seem to work properly it appear to
work in lower hz than expected (but in win2k, works fine)

and now i changed it again
ASUS A7S333, Athlon 2000+ 1.7Ghz, 256MB DDR, and now im using an S3
Savage 4, video card with 32MB in AGP slot
but with this one i havent configure anything, and all is working fine
and faster
