cdrecord options

Was burning a music CD in RH9 the other night using cdrecord.  Everything 
worked out fine, except that there is a small gap between each track.  I 
used the option to set a gap of zero between tracks (not pregap= but the 
other one, don't have it handy right now).

cdrecord wanted to round up each track to a multiple 2352 frames.  Is this 
the source of the audible gap between tracks?  Or is it something else in 
the CD recording process?  Should I have used -dao (disk at once)?  Or -sao 
(session-at-once)?
