Hi, I noticed that my RH distribution disks come with mysql-3.23.56-1.80.i386.rpm. I was wondering why Red Hat does not ship RH ver. 8 with MySQL 4 since it's been out for quite a while now? I'm getting ready to install and wondered if MySQL 4 is a stable/secure release yet? And If I should install version 4 or 3? Any info on this would be appreciated.
