Jay,
I thought the very same thing, but I didn't know where to go with it. My system time stays on MNT time. Also, GMT is 7 hours ahead, not behind. Very funky. I hope someone has had this problem before and can share some clues.

AFA the card freezing up, I have NO clue.
But, I did notice that you are in Colorado (US), right?
That is mountain time, right?
And mountain is 7 hours earlier than GMT, right?
This is probably no coincidence...............
