rpm -e wine
Next install wine as root:
rpm -i /path/to/downloaded/wine...
Then run your app just like you used to.
If you have never been able to get wine to install any software, then you probably need to add your self to group wine then logou and log back in. Set up your wine config files in ~/.wine/ and your off to the races.
