/usr/lib/libXft.so.2

I am getting an error as of this morning from KDE or GNOME when
starting X:

relocation error: /usr/lib/libXft.so.2: undefined symbol:
FT_Set_Hint_Flags

I am not sure what I did to do this. I updated the Kerbos (sp?)
packages yesterday and Kapital as well. Only my userid seems affected.
I am able to log in as root. So, I deleted all .gnome*, .gtdk*, .kde,
.metacity, .mcop*, and perhaps a few others thinking that it must have
been a customization issue. It wasn't. Perhaps it is a file
permissions error?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Harry
