[NOTE carefully the CC on this message, Mr. Lowell.]

Psyche list administrator,
Red Hat:

Over the last 24 hours, Mr. Lowell has been responsible for a
veritable spate of postings and replies on this list, taking
offense to how he originally got advice on a simple question.

This original, innocuous incident has absolutely exploded
into frustration, insults and name-calling, with Mr. Lowell
now claiming that he has received hate mail privately from
list members.

Frankly, at this point, it doesn't matter whose fault it
is. Mr. Lowell's postings, and replies to those postings,
are now consuming a sizable portion of the total list
traffic.

This is unacceptable to those of us who use the RH mailing
lists to actually get help. Feel free to chat with Mr. Lowell
and explain simple etiquette to him or, failing that, please
just have him removed from the list.

As I said, it just doesn't matter whose fault it is.
Mr. Lowell's presence has become unacceptably disruptive,
and something should be done about it. A lot of us have
work to do, and Mr. Lowell is simply getting in the way.

Respectfully yours,
Robert P. J. Day
RHCE
