This original, innocuous incident has absolutely exploded into frustration, insults and name-calling, with Mr. Lowell now claiming that he has received hate mail privately from list members. Frankly, at this point, it doesn't matter whose fault it is. Mr. Lowell's postings, and replies to those postings, are now consuming a sizable portion of the total list traffic. This is unacceptable to those of us who use the RH mailing lists to actually get help. Feel free to chat with Mr. Lowell and explain simple etiquette to him or, failing that, please just have him removed from the list. As I said, it just doesn't matter whose fault it is. Mr. Lowell's presence has become unacceptably disruptive, and something should be done about it. A lot of us have work to do, and Mr. Lowell is simply getting in the way.
