ABSOLUTELY!
That should probably have been there to begin with.
Try adding that and reboot.  
(People are going to tell me that you do not have to reboot,
but can restart da, da, da...........But you decide.  There
are LOTS of things that depend on your localhost being 127.0.0.1)
