There we are. You have to remove ppp-mppe-2.4.0-4 because the database
states that this package provides ppp-2.4.0!

Then everything should work.
If you need a new ppp with mppe support, you will find one at my webpage
(mentioned below): ppp-2.4.1-mppe7.i386.rpm
