I happen to have a Lexmark Optra R+ postscript printer. When I configure the printer using redhat-config-printer and select the Lexmark Optra R+ postscript printer driver, it works ok in postscript but fauils to print plain text files. The text seems to not know how to process newlines and I only get one line of output. I seem to have fixed the problem by selecting instead the generic postscript driver. So what's my question? * Is there something that the specific driver should be capable of that the generic driver is not? Is this a bug? TIA -- -Time flies like the wind. Fruit flies like a banana.
